Hayley qualified from Kings College London in 2004. She is a dental hygienist with over 10 years’ experience in both NHS and private practice. She is a trained mentor and became involved in education as a Dental Care Professional Tutor for the London Deanery from 2009 – 2014. Her experience includes five years on the Investigating Committee at the General Dental Council where she became the first DCP to become Chair.
Her current role includes providing private training courses for London Dental Education and Training, as well as other areas within NHS England. She is also a Quality Assurance Inspector of UK Dental Schools for the General Dental Council.
Hayley is a keen researcher, having completed an MSc in Health Sciences in 2010 and received the Colgate DCP Oral and Dental Research Trust Awards in 2010 and 2012.
She was awarded Dental Hygienist of the Year 2012. She is enthusiastic about continuing professional development and after completing a PgCert in Dental Law and Ethics, she moved on to the Masters in Law – Legal Aspects of Medical Practice at Cardiff University.
